Background
I am a consultant Colorectal and General surgeon appointed in 2015. I have a subspecialist interest in Paediatric surgery having trained at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital.
My interests in Colorectal include both malignant disease and benign disease, including Inflammatory bowel disease. I have undertaken a fellowship in St Vincent’s Hospital, Dublin, where I focussed on restorative surgery in IBD.
I am the Foundation Programme Director supervising 140 trainees, and the training lead in General Surgery.
Research interests
National Collaborative research – PI for PPAC 2 trial and sunrise study.
