Background
Jim Barrie graduated from Edinburgh University and trained in orthopaedics in the northwest of England, Liverpool and Baltimore.
He specialises in adult foot and ankle problems. His main research interests are ankle injuries, Achilles problems, forefoot pain and foot deformity.
He holds an MA in clinical education and is involved in teaching, faculty development and education leadership both locally and nationally. He is also committed to improving multidisciplinary, integrated systems of care.
