We provide high quality healthcare services primarily to the residents of East Lancashire and Blackburn with Darwen, which have a combined population in the region of 530,000.
The Trust provides a large range of health care services to its location population. So, whether you work as a doctor, nurse or other health professional or as a porter, receptionist, in finance or catering – working at this organisation means that you are helping make a difference to the people who rely on us for their health care needs.
As you would expect from a Trust providing a complete health care package to a population of over half a million, we can offer a wide variety of career opportunities from permanent roles to volunteers, bank or locum staff to just getting some work experience of working within the NHS.
Our main hospital sites have undergone significant transformation over the past few years and this has resulted in Royal Blackburn Hospital having one of the largest Emergency Departments in the country, a centralised Paediatric service as well as providing high quality care in a wide range of specialities.
Burnley General Hospital has also received substantial investment which has seen the building of the new Integrated Urgent Care Centre and the Lancashire Women and Newborn Centre.
To support all these changes and developments we are looking for enthusiastic and motivated medical staff at all stages of their careers from Trainee Doctors/Dentists, through to Clinical and Senior Clinical Fellows and all points in between.
As a medical staff professional within the Trust, you will work alongside our award winning consultants and specialist teams; using and developing your skills and knowledge further in a supportive environment.
Permanent and Fixed Term Contract Recruitment - our in-house team recruit to all levels and posts within the Trust.
