East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust is seen as the beating heart of our wonderful and diverse community. Our hospitals serve a population of around 530,000 and are there for us all from birth and throughout our lives. Your support helps us to enhance patient and staff environment and experience across our five hospitals that make up East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust - Royal Blackburn Teaching Hospital, Burnley General Teaching Hospitals, Accrington Victoria, Clitheroe, and Pendle Community Hospitals.

We support our local hospitals through enhancing facilities, providing aspirational medical equipment and those all-important added extras, over and above what can be achieved with NHS funding alone. What this actually looks like: Alfie the charity's therapy dog who works three days a week across all sites, scalp cooling technology to reduce and prevent hair loss for those on a cancer journey, toys, games, brightening spaces for childrens services, creating stayover rooms for parents with babies in our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit so they are close to their babies, two Da Vinci surgical systems (robotic-assisted surgery) and so much more for all areas of care from conception, through life to end-of-life care.
